Welcome to LifeBridge Church


LifeBridge church is not your typical church.  A lot of churches will say this and then go on to use words like missional, incarnational, and many other words that people do not use in the real world.  So what makes LifeBridge different in plain English? At the heart of LifeBridge is a refuge and a real acceptance of who you are and where you are.  We are not a place you go to, we are a place you belong to and have safe harbor in.  
We believe that hearts are precious, but they are also fragile.  Many people are fed up with church and with Christians. If that is you and you are interested in being a part of something, then LifeBridge could be the place for you.  We are not, by design, a church for Sunday mornings, though we will have Sunday services.  We believe that church is you and me and all of us and not a building, a service, or a small group.  I am who I am because of who we are as we journey through life together.  We are a place without judgment and without conditions to your heart or secret handshakes.   
LifeBridge is a place where we can unravel the mysteries of the Bible and of the person of Jesus and learn how to live that out as we help people in Bolingbrook, Will County, Haiti, and where ever else you and your neighbor live.  If any of this intrigues you, read on.  If this does not sound like what you are looking for in a church, there are many other places in Lockport with fine communities and you can find them here. 

The Idea of LifeBridge

To show all people the unconditional love and grace of Jesus without any reservations because of their lifestyle or religious background, past or future. This love has no agenda behind it (I Cor. 13:5). This grace sets no time line on personal change or standards for spiritual growth (Romans 4:4-5). The idea is to be a part of people’s lives because we truly care for them rather than to fulfill a religious duty; to walk with them through all their struggles as a part of their life, not as a religious outsider.
The desire at the heart of LifeBridge is to see this idea spread to other communities and churches. We aspire to see people from other communities and churches taking to heart the true message of the grace and love of Christ, and in turn to see them spread this message to those in their community, building relationships and sharing in the life experiences of those around them (Gal. 6:2-3), and living out the grace, hope and love that God has blessed them with.

When and Where 

LifeBridge Church meets on Sunday's at noon.  We meet at the Christian Ministry Center located at 604 East Ninth Street in Lockport, Il.  For direction, please click the map below.
